Cabochoner - Regnbuefluorit cabochon (Indien) - Regnbuefluorit

The polish on this cabochon is so smooth it feels almost glassy to the touch, and the rainbow bands shift in the light as you turn it. I picked it up for a wire-wrapped pendant and the colors are even richer in person than in the photos.

The color play is unreal—this little cab shifts from deep teal to violet depending on the light, and the polish is glassy enough to catch every angle. I’ve already set it in a pendant and it’s the focal point of the piece. Exactly what I hoped for from a stone sourced from India.
