凸圓面寶石 - 紅寶石於綠雲母中凸圓面寶石（印度）

The deep red ruby spots really pop against the green stone, and the polish is smooth enough that I can already picture it in a bezel setting. Lapidary work on this one is clean, no pits or scratches on the dome.

The green fuchsite has a nice shimmer to it, and the ruby spots are actually visible without needing a bright light. I set it in a simple silver bezel for a pendant and it polished up beautifully.

I was a little worried the polish wouldn’t hold up when I set it in a bezel, but this cabochon is smooth and even all around. The ruby patches have a deep, rich tone that really pops against the green fuchsite, and it’s a perfect size for a pendant.
