I set this free-form cabochon on a simple silver bail and it looks like a little chunk of sky. The organic shape means no two angles catch the light the same way, which is exactly what I wanted for a pendant.

The free-form shape is exactly what I wanted for a custom pendant—no two stones will ever look alike. The play of color shifts from blue to green depending on the light, and it's even more mesmerizing in person. Already planning my next jewelry project around it.

The flash of blue really shows up when you tilt it toward a window, which is exactly what I was hoping for. Mine has one small dull patch along the edge, so it'll be a backing piece rather than a centerpiece. Still a nice chunk of moonstone for the price.
