ไดออปเทสคริสตัลในเมทริกซ์

The green on this specimen is unreal, almost electric against the dull grey matrix. I've bought dioptase before that arrived as loose crumbs, but these crystals are actually anchored in the host rock like the listing showed.

I keep this on my windowsill and the dioptase crystals catch the afternoon light like tiny emeralds still half-buried in the rock. The host matrix is chunkier than the listing photos suggested, but honestly it makes the specimen feel more like something pulled straight from a mine.

The intensity of the green is stunning in person, and the way the crystals are embedded in the matrix makes it feel like a true natural treasure. A gorgeous piece for any mineral collection.
