Pasangan Potongan Fosil Ammonite Cleoniceras (China)- Ammonite

The cut surfaces are so clean and polished that the chamber detail just glows under a bright lamp, it's genuinely mesmerizing for a fossil this old. I wasn't expecting the halves to fit together so perfectly, feels like a little piece of marine history you can hold in your palm.

The matrix on these halves is surprisingly well preserved, with each chamber’s detail sharp enough to trace with a fingertip. I’ve spent a good ten minutes just rotating them under a lamp, and they catch the light beautifully. A very solid, tactile piece of natural history for the shelf.

The two halves fit together so seamlessly it's like looking at a mirror of the ancient sea floor. I've spent way too long just turning them over in my hands, admiring the natural detail in the cut.
