Kalsedoni luonnollisella matriisilla (Intia)

The matrix rock this chalcedony sits on gives it such a raw, unfinished look, which is exactly what I wanted for my shelf. Arrived in one piece and the natural formation is even more interesting up close than in the photos.

The bluish-gray banding on this piece is even more striking in person than in the photos, and the matrix contrast really makes the chalcedony pop. It arrived securely packed and looks fantastic on my display shelf.

The chalcedony has a soft waxy luster that looks even better in person than the listing photos suggested. Only downside is a small rough patch on one edge of the matrix, but it doesn't distract from the display.
