Kavansiitti - Kavansiittiryppäät (Intia)

I've bought a few mineral specimens online and this cluster is easily the most eye-catching one in my case. The radiating crystal formations catch light from every angle, and the blue is way more vivid in person than in photos. Packed carefully too, not a single crystal came loose.

The blue on these cavansite clusters is way more vivid in person than in the photos, almost electric against the white matrix. Mine has a nice spray of crystals on one side that catches light beautifully on my shelf.

The clusters arrived incredibly well-packed, and the color is a rich, deep blue that looks stunning under any light. I’ve spent a good while just turning them over to catch the different angles of the crystals.
